How to Connect Sendinblue and WPForms in WordPress

How to Integrate Sendinblue and WPForms

You will need to install and enable the WPForms plugin on your WordPress website to get started.

Step 1: Install the WPForms Plugin

In order to install the WPForms plugin follow the below given steps

Navigate to your WordPress dashboard

Go to the Plugins section –> Add New

Once you click on Add New you will come across a screen. In the search box type “WPForms” and then you will come across a screen similar to this one.

Now click on “Install Now” and then Activate the Plugin

Once you are done with the activation you will be asked for the License Key

Please notice that to use the Sendinblue addon, you must purchase a WPForms Pro licence

After purchasing the license key of WP forms, open the wordpress dashboard, go to wp forms and choose settings to enter the license key you purchased.

Step 2: Install the SendinBlue Addon 

As stated earlier you will need to install the Sendinblue addon.

In order to install the Sendinblueaddon follow the below given steps 

Navigate the WordPress dashboard–> Click on the WPForms section –> Now go to the Addons section

Once you click on Addons section you will come across a collection of all the addons provided by WPForms. Keep scrolling below on the Addons page until you come across the Sendinblue Addon. Now you have to install Sendinblue Addon

Next, click Addons in the WPForms option and search for Sendinblue addon in the search bar, click on the Install Addon button, and wait until it is successfully activated.

Once the Sendinblue addon is activated, we need to connect it with the Sendinblue account. To connect, go to WPForms settings and click on integrations

Then, press the Add New Account button under the Sendinblue option to add your account credentials.

Once you click on “Add New Account” you will come across a screen similar to the one shown below wherein you’ll need to add your Sendinblue account API key, as well as a nickname for the account.

Now, you will need to fill in the appropriate fields, i.e. Sendinblue API key and user nickname, to connect your account.

You would need to log in to your Sendinblue account to find your API key. Once logged in to your account, click on your name in the top right corner, then on the SMTP & API.

Under the API keys, you’ll find your unique API key.

Now copy this key and paste it to the required fields on your WPForms Settings tab. Also, add a nickname to your Sendinblue Account Nickname field. Refer to the below screenshot

Once you have filled in the necessary information, press the Connect to Sendinblue button.

When it’s completed, you’ll see the Green Connected button next to your Sendinblue integration.

Adding a Sendinblue Integration to Your Forms

Now you can create a new form, or you can modify the existing form.

In order to connect Sendinblue to any of your forms follow the below given steps

In the form builder, go to Marketing >> Sendinblue and press the Add New Connection button.

Clicking this button will open an overlay where you can give a nickname to this connection. You can enter any nickname you wish, as it is for internal reference only.

In case you have more than one SendinBlue account connected to WPForms then choose the one would like to use from the Select account dropdown.

Under the Action to Perform choose the action you want to happen when user fills out the form. In our case we will use the Subscribe as the “Action to perform”. You can refer to the below given screenshot to get an idea

Fill all the required fields mentioned below.

·   Select account–  If you have more than one Sendinblue account linked to WPForms, choose the one you want to use.

·   Action to perform– Select the action you want to take when people submit the form.

·   Email- Choose the WPForms area that will be used to store the subscriber’s email address.

·   List– Choose the Sendinblue email list to which the subscriber should be added.

Under the Custom Field Name portion, you can also map any custom fields you’ve added to your Sendinblue account.

When you’ve finished configuring all of the options, hit the ‘Save’ button at the top of the page.

You will now proceed to add your form to your website.

How can you quickly grow your email list With Sendinblue and WPForms
